ParticipantCannabis is no longer a subject of taboo. People are familiar with terms like CBD and THC. While they might not be knowledgeable about what these terms might mean, odds are that you’ve heard either one of them once or twice in your life
.
Cannabis is a powerful medicine that has brought medical relief to millions of people throughout the world. Considering that it was one of the first ever cultivated crops and has a long-rich history with humanity, it is important to know a bit more about what ‘makes it tic’.
What is CBD?

CBD or Cannabidiol is a cannabinoid found within the cannabis plant. This non-psychoactive compound provides a wealth of medical benefits from helping with stress and anxiety to alleviating pain and stopping seizures.
CBD has made its round in the news cycle since people started noticing that it helps in stopping difficult to treat seizure disorders such as Dravet’s Syndrome and other forms of Childhood Epilepsy.
CBD is pretty much legal all over the world and has a very high safety profile. You can almost buy CBD products anywhere in the world.

What is THC?

THC has received a bad rap over the years. This cannabinoid, better known as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol is responsible for getting you high. Apart from the recreational attributes of the compound, it also serves a big medical purpose.
Anti-tumor properties
Anti-inflammatory agent
Anti-bacterial
Anti-viral
Anti-Stress
Anti-Depression
EtcOver the years’ growers have been focusing on rising the THC levels in crops while diminishing the CBD levels, since the two compounds balance each other out. While some people might be concerned about the rising THC levels in commercial cannabis, the fact of the matter is that no one has ever died from it.
Its safety-profile is also very high.
Is one better than the other?People often conclude that if THCgets you high and CBD doesn’t, that CBD must be better for you. The truth is that both of them are beneficial to your health. In fact, if you take both of them you actually increase the medical benefit through something that is called, in essence, fact”.
The Net Effect in essence is the synergistic interaction between cannabinoids. They complement each other to provide greater medical benefits to the user. This is why the “whole plant” is always better than an isolated compound.
Depending on your need, you can either choose to have a single compound or all of them together.
Where do I get these compounds?

It really depends on where you live. If you live in a legal cannabis state or country, you should have no problem tracking down either THC or CBD. If you live in a prohibition state, you might only legally have access to CBD products.
To find THC in these areas would mean the black market. If you don’t want “weed” but rather a THC oil or a THC Pill, you can always buy the cannabis on the black market and process it. Of course, we don’t want anyone to break the law, however if you’re trying to kill your cancer with Rick Simpson Oil…then it might be worth
